Privacy Notice
Last updated: September 4th, 2026
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Notice explains how MamafitPH Fitness Services, a sole proprietorship doing business as ThriveLife, Mamafit, and Dadafit ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our websites, courses, memberships, and communities (collectively, the "Platform"), or communicate with us, including through direct messages on social media.
Our primary law of reference is the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, enforced by the National Privacy Commission (NPC). Because we also serve clients internationally, this Notice also addresses relevant considerations for users in other countries, though it is written from a Philippine legal foundation.
2. Scope — This Covers More Than Just Our Website
This Notice applies to personal information we collect:
- through the Platform (account creation, checkout, forms, trackers you fill in);
- through email;
- through direct messages and comments on social media platforms (such as Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok), where you communicate with a coach or with us directly. We want to be upfront that coaching conversations sometimes happen this way, and information you share in those conversations — including health information — is covered by this Notice even though it takes place on a third-party platform we don't fully control.
3. Information We Collect
Ordinary personal information, such as: your name, email address, phone number, address, date of birth, gender, and payment-related information (processed by our payment processors, currently PayPal and, for a small number of legacy transactions, Xendit — we do not store your full card details ourselves).
Sensitive personal information. Under the Data Privacy Act, health-related information is treated as sensitive personal information, requiring a stricter basis for collection and use than ordinary data. We may collect this when you voluntarily provide it — for example, in an intake form, a coaching questionnaire, a tracker you fill in as part of a Program, or in a direct conversation with a coach — including information such as:
- health conditions, injuries, or diagnoses you disclose to help a coach guide you safely (for example, PCOS, autoimmune conditions, postpartum status, or C-section recovery);
- information you log in trackers related to a Program (such as symptoms, cravings, sleep, or reactions to reintroduced foods).
We collect sensitive personal information only with your consent, and only to the extent you choose to share it with us, for the purpose of providing safer and more relevant coaching. You are never required to disclose health information to purchase or access a Program in general; some guided coaching services may not be deliverable safely without it, in which case a coach will tell you what's needed and why.
Automatically collected information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and usage patterns on the Platform, collected via cookies and standard web analytics.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and deliver the Programs you purchase; process payments; personalize coaching guidance where you've shared relevant health information; communicate with you about your account, orders, or Program updates; send marketing communications (which you can opt out of at any time via the unsubscribe link in any marketing email); maintain the security of the Platform; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Who We Share Information With
We share information only as needed to operate our business:
- Payment processors (PayPal, and legacy Xendit records) to process transactions.
- Kajabi, our platform provider, which hosts our courses, memberships, and community.
- Service providers and contractors who support our operations under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal authorities, where required by law, subpoena, or court order.
- With your consent, or as otherwise described in this Notice.
We do not share sensitive personal information (health-related information) with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We recommend caution about what you share with us over email, DM, or unsecured channels, particularly detailed health information, and we are working to route sensitive coaching conversations toward more secure, Platform-based channels where practical rather than relying on DMs long-term.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your information as described in Section 9, subject to any legal or legitimate business reason we may have to retain certain records (such as transaction records for tax purposes).
8. Your Rights Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012
If you are in the Philippines, you have rights under the Data Privacy Act, including the right to:
- be informed that your personal information will be, is being, or has been processed;
- access your personal information that we hold;
- request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- object to processing of your personal information in certain circumstances;
- request erasure or blocking of your personal information under certain conditions;
- be indemnified for damages arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or unlawfully obtained personal information;
- data portability, where technically feasible;
- lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph) if you believe your rights under the Data Privacy Act have been violated.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12.
9. International Users
We have clients in the Philippines, Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. Our data handling practices are built around Philippine law. If you are located outside the Philippines, your information may be processed in the Philippines or by service providers located elsewhere.
We are not representing that this Notice fully satisfies every data protection law that may separately apply to you in your own country (for example, Canada's PIPEDA, Australia's Privacy Act 1988, or Singapore's PDPA).
10. Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Platform and understand how it's used. Most browsers let you control or disable cookies through their settings; disabling cookies may affect how well the Platform functions for you.
11. Children's Privacy
Our Programs are not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
12. Third-Party Links & Social Media
The Platform, and our social media accounts, may link to third-party sites we don't control. This Notice does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy practices.
13. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Notice from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Notice.
